Twilight

She is not very outgoing but suddenly everyone knows who she is and is fascinated by her, because she is the new girl. One boy in her class however, seems to have a grudge against her. Can she find out why? Can she even make it through the year alive, with her knack for getting into trouble? And will she find something that will make her actually want to stay in this depressing town.

Enemy Women

The life of Adair Colley as she gets herself through The Civil War in 1864. Adair is a strong-willed girl of eighteen, who starts off innocent and hoping to deal with horses someday. When the Union Militia come to take her father and her horses away, her brother goes into hiding, and she leads her sisters toward Iron Mountain. But she is separated from them when she is taken to a women’s prison in St. Louis for ‘disloyalty.’ Here she falls in love with her interrogator. He is called away to war, however; before he goes he helps her to escape and promises to find her after the fighting. Weakened in health but not in spirit, she sets off towards home where she hopes to see her family. Adair leaves behind her former carefree self, and must learn to steal, lie, and improvise to survive the way home.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

An orphaned boy is living a miserable life with his Aunt and Uncle, the Dursleys, when he suddenly finds out he is a wizard. His world is turned upside-down. He goes from sleeping in the cupboard under the stairs, getting beaten up by his horrible cousin, Dudley, and getting into trouble for doing things he can't explain, to flying on broomsticks, wearing invisibility cloaks, and making friends. But being in the wizarding world is not all fun and games when your Harry Potter. As he grows and learns more about himself, he must also learn to accept his destiny.

Maine Squeeze

Coleen was supposed to have the best summer ever before she had to leave the island and go to college. Her parents were leaving the country for the summer so her three best friends were moving in. She had a job at Bobb’s Lobster, and planned to spend all of her free time with her boyfriend Ben. One problem, her ex is back for the summer and she can’t get him out of her head. Ben can tell something is up and is not happy, but as Coleen desperately tries to fix things between them, her best friend is mad at her and her roommate is completely disreguarding her parents’ rules.

No one here ever knows their family, they are sent to school until age 15, and then the Council or Vocations decides what career they will have until they become old and useless. This short novel is about Equality 7-2521`s search for individualism, and his discovery of the word "I."

The Dream of the Stone

Sarah Lucas started off as normal girl with a happy family. All of the sudden her parents are killed in a plane crash and she is sent to live with some of her more unfavorable relatives. Her brother is working on a top secret project for an underhanded institute and soon disappears without a trace. Now she is off to find him with the help of her gypsy friend, Angel, and some advice from a mysterious old lady.
